Poets of the Piano returns for its third season.

When composers wanted to push the limits of emotion and personal drama in their music to the edge, they turned to the Fantasy.

The fourth and final concert in this series is music of Gothic or diabolic dreams. Quentin Kim's four-movement sonata depicts a journey into the subconscious, while Liszt's Mephisto Waltz is inspired by Lenau's depiction of Mephisto hypnotizing a crowd with his violin playing.

Schumann - Des Abends / In der Nacht

Medtner - March of the Paladin / The Bells

Quentin Kim - Sonata in g# minor

Liszt - Mephisto Waltz
